Mr. Jessie V. Brewer

January 21, 1944 - December 08, 2010

Jessie Vaughn Brewer, 66, of Dupont passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Hospice Inpatient Facility.

Born January 21, 1944 in Miamisburg, OH, Jessie was the son of Russell and Annie Vaughn Brewer. He later married Charlene Rust.

Mr. Brewer retired after 15 years from Rose Acres in Jennings County in 1995. Then he worked for Brewer's Livestock for 17 years. Jessie also worked at ARMCO now known as AK Steel in Middletown, OH. He was a member of Six Mile Masonic Lodge in Hayden. Jessie enjoyed working and spending time with his grandchildren and family in his later years. He especially enjoyed attending Trinity Full Gospel and telling everyone about Jesus.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Brewer; his children, Stephen & Michelle Brewer of Norman, IN, Donnie & Theresa Brewer of North Vernon, Chris & Lisa Session of North Vernon, Ray & Connie Adcox of Athens, TN, Chet & Sandi Cockerham of Seymour; his grandchildren, Jason, Jessie, Jacob & Justin Brewer of Norman, Rachel & Emily Brewer of North Vernon, Derric, Randi & Brandon Cross of North Vernon, Tasha Sessions of Columbus & Zachary, Stone & Kailene Cockerham of Seymour; his great-grandchildren, Abbey Cross & Brison Hornberger of North Vernon; he is also survived by several brothers and sisters, Charles & Joann Brewer, John & Fern Brewer & Albert & Deloris Smith all of Annville, KY, Frances McGuire of North Vernon, Paul & Elsie Marcum of Hamilton, OH, Voyd & Eula Turner of Berea, KY & J.C. & Louise Baldwin of Hamilton, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Russel Brewer & Donald W. Brewer

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude Fouts officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday Masonic service will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
