Jennifer Sue Symons, 44, of Vernon, passed away 6:35 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Our Hospice in Columbus.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on July 15, 1977, in Columbus, Jennifer was the loving daughter of Al Symons and Donna Sue (Watkins) Perkinson.

Jennifer graduated from Jennings County High School and went on to earn a BA in Psych from the Indiana Universtiy. She was a herbalist and had owned and ran the Herbal Solution Shop in Vernon. She loved watching her boys play basketball. Jennifer enjoyed the Dave Matthews Band and going to concerts with her friends. Jennifer liked being outdoors, the river, going to the beach. Most important to her were her children, they were the love of her life.

Jennifer is survived by her father Al Symons; mother, Donna Perkinson of Vernon; stepfather, Ron Perkinson; sons, Lane and Luke Lauderbaugh; brother, Brian Symons of Vernon.

Memorials can be made to the funeral home for the family.
