Janet Allman Wolfe

Janet Allman Wolfe, 73 of North Vernon passed away at 6:32 p.m. on July 11, 2011 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born on August 1, 1937 in Seymour, Janet was the daughter of Everett Otto and Mildred Flores Huddleston Allman. She later married David Wolfe and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wolfe enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, her dogs, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Timmy (Leanne) Martin of Taylorsville, KY and Steven (Cynthia) Martin of North Vernon, two daughters, Beverly Sublett and Sheri (Doug) Schroeder of North Vernon, a step-daughter, Angela Wolfe Hollman of North Vernon, 14 grandchildren, Michael Martin, Vicki Roth, Tonia Vetter, Brandon Martin, Jami Martin, Andrew Martin, Derrick Martin, Aaron Bales, Zachary Schroeder, Jonathon Schroeder, Rachael Schroeder, Kevin McCrory, Cory Miller, and Tawnie Hollman, 10 great-grandchildren, Kailee Martin, Matt Martin, Samantha Roth, Austin Roth, Liam Vetter, Jude Vetter, Coen Vetter, Gerry Joe Martin, Owen James Hatfield, and Parker Ray Bales, and one sister, Marilyn (Delbert) Foster of Seymour.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband David, her parents, a son, Jeffery Dean Martin, and three brothers, Everett, Donald, and Roland Allman.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Weeks officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
