Janet Marshall, 76, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at her residence.

Born August 22, 1940, in Columbus, Janet was the daughter of Wardell and Pauline (Bedel) White. She married James Marshall on March 2, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2009.

Janet retired from Home Products in Seymour. She was a member of Living Wood Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Tony Ray White of North Vernon and James Marshall of Seymour; one daughter, Joyce Redmon of Columbus; two sisters, Judy Sandlin and Lee Ann (Carl) Hounshel, both of Seymour; one brother, David (Marlene) White of Seymour; seven grandchildren, Toni Gayle Smith, Sandra Gonzalez, Ethan Marshall, Zeph Ross, Cory Ross, Hailley Hopper, Renee Lewis; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two brothers, Larry and Michael White; and sister, Carole Whipker.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Living Will Baptist Church.
