Janet Barnes Hillis Pence

Janet Barnes Hillis Pence, 77, of Columbus passed away at 4:00 a.m. on July 4, 2013 at her residence.
Born March 15, 1936 in Logansport, Janet was the daughter of the late Haston Franklin and Doris Barnes Hillis.
Janet will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her kindness and love of animals and her uncommonly practical intellect.
Survivors include her sons, David (Athline Clark) Pence of Kanehoe, HI, John Pence of Three Rivers, MI, and James Pence of Seymour, daughters, Marjorie (Bill) Donnell of Aurora, IL and Katherine (Mark) Stahl of Columbus, brother, James (Pat) Hillis, sister, Jane Hillis Osborne of Vevay and fifteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Information

An outdoor, informal memorial service will be held at her home on Sunday, July 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. For more information regarding directions please contact the family.
