Jane Padgett, 50, of North Vernon, died at her home on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

Born March 3,1959, in Martinsville, IN., she was the daughter of Russell Padgett and Juanita Clayton Yates, she survives.

She enjoyed oil painting, flower gardening and crafts.

She is survived by : two sons, Neal Schmitter of Hanover and Matthew Schmitter of North Vernon, a brother Russell Padgett of Kokomo, a sister, Sue Kern of Lebanon, four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
