Jana Yvonne Crawford Goodpaster, 83, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Cedar Creek of Seymour.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation has been chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on April 20, 1940, in Lincoln, Kentucky, Jana was the loving daughter of John Hollen and Amanda Crawford. She was united in marriage to Don Goodpaster in 2007. He survives.

Jana worked as a nurse for 12 years at Chrysler Motors in Michigan. She liked going to garage sales, and spending time with her family. Jana was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Four Corners.

In addition to her husband Don Goodpaster of North Vernon, survivors include daughter, Kim (Aaron) Westrick of Boyne City, MI; son, Jeff Hernden of Rochester, MI; step children, Becky (Dale) Terry of Seymour, Terry (Tammy) Goodpaster of Seymour, and Tammie (Isaac) Bailey of Deputy; grandchildren, Aaron (Sara) Westrick, and Amanda (Bryce) Hunter; great grandchildren, Weston, and Avalon Hunter, Andrea (Mitch) Farrell, Lindsey (Zak) Lewis, and Jacob Hernden.

Jana was preceded in death by her parents, John Hollen and Amanda Crawford; son, David Hernden; stepson, Donald Goodpaster.

Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to the organization of the donor's choice.
