Mr. James "Moe" McNulty
October 26, 1954 - September 28, 2010
James "Moe" McNulty, 55, of Seymour, formerly of North Vernon, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. McNulty owned McNulty Plastering and was the author of "Living Life by Russian Roulette." He played professional softball, making it as far as Nationals. Moe enjoyed hunting and making people laugh. For the last fifteen years he turned his life around and began to help troubled youth stay off drugs and stay employed.
Born October 26, 1954, in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of the late Bob and Maxine McNulty.
He is survived by a son, Shane McNulty of North Vernon; two daughters, Lela McNulty of Lexington, N.C., Destiny McNulty of Pasadena, TX.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Pep) McNulty of Seymour; a sister, Hope McNulty Stout of Hollywood, CA; a half-brother, Jack Combest of Columbus; and a half-sister, Eva Combest of Seymour.
Moe was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Bobby McNulty.
Funeral Information
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Dale Boyd will be officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the Moose Club in North Vernon.
Donations Information
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
