Mr. James Bryan Hancock

James Bryan Hancock, 53 of North Vernon, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Martin County Indiana.

Born February 9, 1959 in Bloomington, Indiana, James was the son of the late Estelle Lawrence Hancock . He married Jean Hancock April 19, 1986. She survives.

Nick served in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. James enjoyed hanging drywall. He loved fishing, gardening, golf, pitching horse shoes and being outdoors. His greatest love was his grandchildren.

Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Sabrina (Bill Spurlin) Smith of Columbus and Nikkie Ryan of North Vernon; a son, Terence (Chelsey) Arthur of Mitchell and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and 2 grandchildren, Mary Margaret Arthur and Terence Eugene Arthur Jr.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
