James Bohall, 59, North Vernon, passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at home.

A celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. untill the start of the service.

Born on March 31, 1963, in Columbus, James was the loving son of James M. and Marlene (Mays) Bohall.

James had worked for Harmon Construction as a foreman. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, AmVets, and Eagles. He enjoyed playing music and singing. Most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.

James is survived by significant other, Crystal Derringer of North Vernon; sons, Zachary (Megan) Bohall of Logansport, and Jared (Lindsay) Bohall of North Vernon; mother, Marlene Bohall of Commiskey; father, James M. (Milred) Bohall of Seymour; sisters, Tracey Childress of New Castle, Debbie Bohall of Commiskey, Connie (Tim) Smith of Murphy, NC, and Shari (Steve) Neal of Commiskey; grandchildren, Brogan Acre, Lillyan Bohall, Brennan Brown, Breysan Bohall, Alex Bohall, Makayla Bohall, and Lyric Derringer.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
