Jackie N. Porter, 73, of North Vernon passed away at 4:52 P.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at her home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Donald Porter Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.  until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Born April 19, 1947, in Rogersville, AL, Jackie was the daughter of Walter O'Neil and Velma O. Scott. She married Bobby Porter on March 1, 1985.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed puzzles, camping, fishing, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Porter of North Vernon; sons, Donald, Tony, and Richard Michael of Columbus; granddaughter, Jackie Griffith of Scipio; grandson, Ashley Snyder of Columbus; sister, Elaine Watkins of AL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Michael; brother, Carl Scott; and sister, Evelyn Moore.
