Mrs. Ina Hensley

Ina Lee Hensley, 85, of New Haven, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at her residence.

Born April 1, 1926, in Allais, KY, she was the daughter of Raymond and Cora Miller Rison. She married Jesse Hensley on September 20, 1946. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1991.

Ina loved bingo and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Gordon of New Haven; two grandchildren Stephen Gordon and his wife Dawn of New Haven and Mary Gordon of New Haven, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lena Long of Burlington, KY and Katherine Davidson of Harrison, IN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Virgil Rison, Ernest Rison and John William Rison.

Funeral Information

A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be at Holton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Parkview Hospice in Fort Wayne through the funeral home.
