Mrs. Hester E. Williams

August 20, 1940 - November 10, 2012

Hester E. Williams, 72, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her residence.

Born on August 20, 1940, in Beattyville, KY, Hester was the daughter of the late Rufus and Hazel Callahan Fox. On June 26, 1988, in Dallas, TX, she married Douglas Williams. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1991.

A 1958 graduate of Austin High School, Hester had been previously employed by Silgan in Seymour.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Wilson of Scottsburg, and Gregory Wilson of Dallas, TX; one sister, Judy Duvall of Austin; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Hester was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie James Fox.

Funeral Information

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
