Helen Everroad Coldiron, 84, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at her residence.

Born April 19, 1932, in Jennings County, Helen was the daughter of the late George and Muriel (Detraz) Horstman.

Helen retired from Cosco, where she was employed as a press operator. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Terry) Biehle of North Vernon; a son, James (Beverly) Coldiron of North Vernon; six grandchildren, William (Becky) Everroad, Kristina Everroad, Poppy Shoopman, Adam Biehle, Shellie Miller and Emily Coldiron; and six great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, and son, William Milton Everroad.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no service. Arrangements were entrusted to Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
