Harry D. Minor III

Harry D. Minor III, 65, of Versailles, formerly of North Vernon, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Burcham officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM to time of service Saturday.

Born February 20, 1943, in Massachusetts, he was the son of Harry D. II and Leann Minor, they preceded him in death. He married Marilyn Nelson, she also preceded him in death in 2006.

Mr. Minor had worked as a property manager at a trailer park in California. He had also worked as a handyman around North Vernon, until he become ill. Mr. Minor moved to North Vernon from Colorado in 2002.

Mr. Minor is survived by his friends Larry and Beth Sporleder of North Vernon.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Jennings County.
