IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory A.
Ledbetter
November 19, 1952 – April 23, 2015
Mr. Gregory A. Ledbetter
November 19, 1952 - April 23, 2015
Gregory Allen Ledbetter, 62, of North Vernon passed away at 1:45 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his residence.
Born November 19, 1952, Greg was the son of George Franklin Ledbetter Sr. and Jacqueline Gloria LaMunyon.
He started work at a very young age at Rose Acres. He later was a truck driver for Boknecht Trucking, a self-employed mechanic, and retired from NAC in North Vernon in 2010.
He loved the outdoors, baling hay, camping, spending time talking about his ancestry and family. He was proud to say he was born at his old homestead at Spraytown, IN. His life was influenced by Howard Gibson, longtime faithful friend, also deceased. He will be sadly missed by all, as he was a book of knowledge and always willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his companion, Susan Jones of North Vernon; son, Howard G. Ledbetter of Seymour; two daughters, Amanda J. Davidson of Hope, and Mary Burton of Seymour; four brothers, William Buddy (Polly) Ledbetter of IL, George F. (Carol) Ledbetter of Seymour, Grover I. (Faye) Ledbetter and Gordon J. (Trenda) Ledbetter of Atlanta, IN; seven sisters, Linda Smith and Betty Flowers of IL, Gloria (Chester) Delp of Cayuga, IN, Gail Y. McCammon of Seymour, Gwenda (Eddie) Meade of Columbus, Glenda Douglas of Columbus, and Galene Y. Harris; six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Raymond F. Ledbetter.
