Mr. Gilbert L. Engle

July 13, 1972 - April 30, 2015

Gilbert L. Engle, 42, of Seymour died at 6:11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Engle was a graduate of Lottie High School in Theodosia, Missouri. He enjoyed outdoor activities and music. He was a proud father and fabulous brother to his family.

Born July 13, 1972, in St. Charles, Missouri, Mr. Engle was the son of Gilbert Lee and Sally Katherine (Pickering) Engle. Mr. Engle was married to Laura Griffith.

Survivors include his wife, Laura; a daughter, Ezra Marie Engle of Greenwood; a son, Isiah Lee Engle of Freetown; a brother, Jebb Cardin of Broomfield, Colorado; sisters, Amy Andis of Lexington, IN, Nancy Monday of Butlerville and Becky Terkane of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mr. Engle was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Information

Private services were held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the home of his sister. Arrangements are in the care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services.
