Gertrude (Anglin) Line, 89, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away under hospice care March 12, 2022.

She was born May 29, 1932 at Kirksville, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Lula (Witt) Anglin. The family then relocated to Jennings County Indiana, where Gertrude was raised. Gertrude was a graduate of Vernon High School, Class of 1950. She married Donald Line of Kankakee, Illinois in December of 1954 at Vernon Baptist Church. The couple then resided in Chicago Heights, Illinois moving their family to Florida in 1973. They had two sons David and Dennis. Gertrude worked for many years as an accountant, retiring from Barnett Bank of Tampa, Florida.

She is survived by son Dennis (Sheila) Line of Winter Springs Florida, sister Frances Fischer of Indianapolis, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Line was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David (Dawn), brother Gerald Anglin, sisters Dorsey Taggart and Helen Lind.

There will be a graveside Memorial Service held at the Vernon Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sawyer Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.
