Gerald Dean Anglin

Gerald Dean Anglin, 69 of North Vernon passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

Born on April 7 1941, in North Vernon, Gerald was the son of the late Clarence and Lula Witt Anglin. He later married Joann Wickens on August 8, 1959.

Mr. Anglin had retired from Cummings after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the AMVETS and the Eagles, where he had been a trustee 15 years. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, working on cars, NASCAR and anything mechanical.

He is survived by his wife, Joann, a daughter, Debbie Anglin of North Vernon, a grand-daughter, Stephanie Jo Ebbing of North Vernon, a great-grand-daughter, Emily Ebbing of North Vernon, and three sisters, Gertrude Line of Florida, Francis Fischer of Indianapolis, Dorsey Taggart of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jeffrey Scott Anglin and a sister Helen Lynn.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Don Morris officiating. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
