Mr. Gene Ferguson

December 18, 1930 - October 30, 2008

Gene Ferguson, 77, of North Vernon, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born December 18, 1930 in Butlerville, IN, he was the son of Arthur and Opal Warman Ferguson, they preceded him in death. He married Eva Banister on April 13, 1952 in North Vernon, she survives.

Mr. Ferguson served in the United States Air Force and was a contractor in North Vernon for many years. Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Home Builders Association and the Men's Fellowship at the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Eva Banister Ferguson, and two daughters, Karen and Wanda Ferguson, all of North Vernon.

Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Opal Warman Ferguson.

Funeral Information

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Banister officiating.
