Mr. Gary Keith Gholson

July 29, 1945 - January 15, 2014

Gary K. Gholson, 68, of North Vernon passed away at 8:56 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at his residence.

Born in North Vernon July, 29, 1945, Gary was the son of Albert and Ruth Hasler Gholson. He married Mary Speer January 24, 1970.

Gary served in the United States Air Force from November 1963 until November 1967. He worked as a printer for fourteen years at EXO Pack and then Jenco for two years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Gholson is survived by his wife, Mary Gholson of North Vernon; son, Terry Gholson of North Vernon; daughter, Carrie (Jared) Robinette of North Vernon; sisters, Martha (Bill) Padgett, and Linda (Larry) Cunningham of Westport; brothers, Jim Gholson of Scipio, and Dennis (Teresa) Gholson of North Vernon; grandchildren, Kaylie and Kyle Tempest, and Jaylan Robinette; sister-in-law, Lois Gholson of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron Gholson; sister, Judy Gresham.

Funeral Information

Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Madison American Legion Honor Guard at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
