Frederick Lee Hoagstrom, 49, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.

Born March 27, 1967, in Grand Island, NE, Frederick was the son of Edward and Carol Rasmussen Hoagstrom. He married S. Lisa Miers on June 10, 2006, and she survives.

Frederick worked at Rightway Fasteners as a set up technician & operator.  He loved fishing, cooking, and making walking sticks.

He is survived by his wife, S. Lisa Hoagstrom of North Vernon; step-children, Jennifer Shafer of North Vernon, Joshua (Amber) Jones of Greensburg, and Christopher Hauser of Letts; sisters, Lynny (Tim) Woods of Omaha, NE, Amy (Jonas) Young of Cozad, NE, and Susan (Mike) Rivera of Knoxville, TN; step-sister, Jodi (Mike) Worm of Taylor, NE; and eight step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
