Frank E. Jines

Frank Jines, 69 of Columbus passed away on April 2, 2009 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born January 22, 1940 in Jennings County, he was the son of the late Frank Lewis and Madge Lena McNeely Jines. He married Mildred Walker August 9, 1966.

Frank worked at B & H Electric where he was a motor repairman. He was a member of the North Vernon Wesleyan Church.

Mr. Jines is survived by his wife, Mildred; a son, Tony Jines of Columbus; two daughters, Cindy Williams of North Vernon; and Melissa Marshall of Columbus; one brother, Larry Jines of North Vernon; and four sisters, Marsha McMurtrey, Leila Mitchell, and Grace Ramey of North Vernon, and Bertha "Pete" Parrish of Bradenton, Florida. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Kaitlin, Benjamin and Lauren Jines, Justin Williams, Derrick Beckwith and Nickolas Marshall.

His parents; and two brothers, Don and Michael Jines preceded him in death.

Funeral Information

The funeral will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Sawywer-Pickett Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Vernon Cemetery
