Mr. Frank E. Harris Jr.

November 29, 1953 - April 18, 2014

Frank E. Harris Jr., 60, of Butlerville passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence.

Born November 29, 1953 at Camp Atterbury, Frank was the son of Frank E. and Martha E. Dwenger Harris.

He retired from Muscatatuck State Developmental Center where he had worked as an electrician. He loved riding motorcycles from coast to coast, collecting coins, and playing cards. He was a member of ABATE for twenty eight years where he formerly served as the county and Linc representative for ABATE. Frank was also a member of Sons of AmVets where he had served as commander, and was a member of the Eagles.

He is survived by two sons, Shawn (Lisa) Harris of Butlerville, and Chad Harris of Boston, MA; brothers, Richard (Judy) Harris of Butlerville, Lawrence (Michelle) Harris of Columbus, Kenneth (Barb) Harris of Butlerville, and Greg (Peggy) Harris of North Vernon; one sister, Cindy (Ivan) Waltermire of Butlerville; grandchildren, Toby Harris, Dustin & Jordan Gray; great-grandchildren, Zoie, Arydessa, and Devin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Juanita Harris.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 7:30 PM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Raymond Spicer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
