Mrs. Frances Louise Schultz

December 11, 1914 - January 31, 2013

Frances Louise Schultz, 98, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born December 11, 1914, in North Vernon, Frances was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Haley Daringer. She married William Schultz on May 29, 1937. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2003.

A 1932 graduate of North Vernon High School, Frances attended business school in Louisville, KY. She had previously been employed as a secretary at Regal Rugs. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Psi Iota Xi and Ladies Guild at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, William Schultz of Raleigh, NC, and John Schultz of Sherman Oaks, CA; a daughter, Mary Ann Hagler of Glendale, CA; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Howard Daringer; and two sisters Anna Margaret Lewis and Dorothy Banta.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Jonathan Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service, with a Rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
