Mrs. Florence Brandt

Florence Brandt, 94, of Seymour, formerly of North Vernon passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Schneck Medical Center.

Born on September 11, 1915 in Scottsburg. She was the daughter of Charles & Mae Graves McAdams. She married Albert Brandt, May 12, 1934. He preceded her in death.

Florence was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 2021, The American Legion of Seymour. She enjoyed playing cards and helping people.

She is survived by four grandchildren; Roger (Debbie) Brandt of Columbus, Vicki (Wayne) Copeland of North Vernon, Cynthia Brandt of Seymour, Larry Brandt of Jonesville; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one sister, a son, Donald Brandt, and a grandson, Michael Brandt.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 14, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Jonesville.
