Elizabeth Ellen Gosman, 73, of Vernon passed away at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Michael Bean will officiate. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Born in Seymour on July 12, 1948, Beth was the daughter of John and Golda Ellen Pearson Heilman. She married Thomas Gosman on January 15, 1971.

Beth was self-employed and managed her and Tom's rental properties. She was a member of Vernon Presbyterian Church where she was the treasurer for thirty years. She also served as the treasurer of the Missionary Society and was a member of the Indiana Blue Bird Society.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Gosman of Vernon; son, Andrew Ray (April Shelton) Gosman of North Vernon; step-son, Billy (Pam) Gosman of North Vernon; step-daughter, Teresa Sinkes of North Vernon; brother, David (Linda) Heilman of North Vernon; grandchildren, Ava, Adrina, Alyssa, Derek, Karalee Gosman, Jared Sinkes, and Michelle Hadley; great-grandchildren, Grace and Madie Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John Malcomb Heilman.
