Elizabeth A. Copley

Elizabeth A. Copley, 69, of Butlerville, passed away on May 1, 2010 at 3:35 a.m. surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Elizabeth was born on February 26, 1941 in Indianapolis to William F. and Geneva J. (Berkenstock) Pinegar.

On July 12, 1958 she married Cecil Copley in Augusta, GA. He survives.

Elizabeth was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She later taught Adult Education Science Courses. Her hobbies included bowling, dancing, sewing and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of over 50 years, her survivors include her children, Peggy Copley, Darla (Roy) Brown, Ronda (William) Carter, Kevin (Amanda) Copley, Charles (Meagan) Copley, David Copley, and Catherine A. Copley, 8 grandchildren, 6great-grandchildren, and 2 sister, Jeanette Jones and Kathy Jo Blackledge.

Funeral Information

Funeral Services will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Service on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis and Rev. Vera Ferguson officiating. Burial will be at Legacy Cemetery of Indianapolis. Visitation will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Service on Saturday after 9:30 until time of the service.
