Mrs. Elizabeth Beckman

January 19, 1940 - February 28, 2015

Elizabeth Beckman, 75, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born January 19, 1940, in Carrollton, KY, Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Tolliver) Gray. On November 26, 1982, she married Richard Beckman. He survives.

A homemaker, Elizabeth enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and bird watching. She was an avid cat lover.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; four daughters, Teressa McCane of North Vernon, Dora (Rick) Robinson and Karen Riney, both of Columbus, and Holly (Jerry) Brewer of Fennville, MI; two sons, Daniel McCane of North Vernon and Richard Beckman, Jr. of Zeeland, MI; sister, Ruby Frances McDowell of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.
