Dorothy Taylor

Dorothy Taylor, 85, of Versailles, formerly of North Vernon passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Silver Bell Nursing Home in Versailles.

Born April 17, 1923 in McKee, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Henry and Amanda Rose Hensley Sr.

Dorothy retired from Brockway Glass Factory in Lapel. She was a member of the Commiskey Baptist Church. Dorothy was a member of the Glass Blowers Association Local #207.

She is survived by a son, Charles E. (Susie) Taylor of North Vernon; one brother Henry Hensley Jr. of Columbus and three sisters Donna Robinson of Paris Crossing, Avis Manning of Commiskey and Willa Dean Stimac of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Marjorie Roberts, Wittie Ziegler and Shirley Jean Wiber.
