Mrs. Dorothy Fields

April 27, 1946 - February 12, 2011

Dorothy Fields, 64, of Butlerville passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 3:55 a.m. at her residence.

Born April 27, 1946 in Columbus, Dorothy was the daughter of Levi Powell and Berince Lazell Meyers. Mrs. Fields graduated from Waukesha Technical College in Wisconsin with an associate degree. She later married Roy Fields on December 18, 1998.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, miniature horses, and her chickens.

She is survived her husband, Roy Fields of Butlerville; a daughter, Roxanne Godfrey of Butlerville; a son, Ron Smith of Watertown, WI; two step-sons, Roy Fields Jr. of Holton and Billy Dewayne Fields of Holton; a sister, Rebecca Hammack of Brown County; and six step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Levi Powell and Bernice Meyers.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Morris officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
