Doris Jean Henry, 54, of North Vernon passed away at 11:52 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home.
Born in Portsmouth, VA, July 17, 1957, she was the daughter of Leroy J. and Maggie Thorpe Henry.
Doris is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Leroy J. Henry Jr., and one sister, Lena Proffit.
Funeral Information
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Arrangements were made in care of Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
