Mrs. Donna L. Sisson

Donna L. Sisson, 81, of Nashville, IN died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Brown County Health and Living in Nashville.

Born June 19, 1933, in Logansport, Mrs. Sisson was the daughter of Dwight and May (Minert) Steininger. She married Lloyd Sisson in 1956.

Mrs. Sisson was a homemaker and had previously worked at Hook's and Revco drugstores. She was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed scrapbooking and reading.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Janet Slevin of Nashville; sons, Gary (Amy) Sisson of Butlerville, Roger (Chris Childers) Sisson of Minneapolis, MN, and Don (Susie) Sisson of Gurnee, IL; a brother, Bill Steininger of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Tyler Sisson, Sr., David Sisson, Kimber Alexander, Tori, Dwight, Declan and Dalton Sisson; and great-grandchildren, Kansas Alexander and Tyler Sisson, Jr.

Mrs. Sisson was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas Dwight Sisson; and a sister, Connie Steininger.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Parkview Church of the Nazarene in Nashville. Rev. Stan Louther will officiate. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Helmsburg. Arrangements were entrusted to Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon.
