Mrs. Donna Jane Noblitt

February 12, 1940 - July 11, 2011

Donna Jane Bowman Noblitt, 71 of North Vernon passed away at 9:10 P.M. on July 11, 2011 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born on February 12, 1940, Donna was the daughter of the late Donald and Martha Jane Carson Bowman. She later married Neal Noblitt and he survives.
Mrs. Noblitt had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Jennings County Gardening Club. Her interest included: gardening, flowers, crafts, painting, poetry, boating, camping, horseback riding, attending craft fairs, diving, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Neal Noblitt, four daughters, Natalie (Jim) Maschino, Nita (Greg) Hicks, and Nora and Neala Noblitt all of North Vernon, and five grandchildren, Justin (Angel), Olivia, and Cameron Maschino, and Zachary and Mariah Hicks.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
