Donna JoAnn Davis, 85, of North Vernon, passed away on January 18, 2017, at the residence of her daughter.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. John Perkins will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Sunday. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Born March 24, 1931, in Indianapolis, Donna was the daughter of Glen and Esther (Lawrence) Kinnick.  She married Harold Edward Davis, and he preceded her in death in December 1993.

A homemaker, Donna had been a member of Vernon Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, walking and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Wells of North Vernon and Deborah (Alan) Bustle of Holton; four sons, Michael Joyner and Gerald Joyner, both of Indianapolis, Scott Joyner and Brian (Gina) Joyner, both of North Vernon; two sisters, Lucille Snedaker of Florida and Beverly Miller of Southport, IN; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
