Donald R. Taylor

Donald R. Taylor, 54 of North Vernon passed away at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his residence.

Born on March 25, 1955 in Seymour, he was the son of Roy and Helen Walt Taylor Jr. He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1973 and had been employed with Tru Temper Construction, Cherry Park Sawmill, and different amusement companies.

He enjoyed sports and racing.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his mother, a brother, Jim Taylor of North Vernon, two sisters Debbie Taylor of North Vernon and Cindy Bonham of Elwood, IL, a niece, Lucynda Murray of Seattle, WA, 2 great nieces, and 1 great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew Ben Burton.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10 AM with Bob Barber officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday and from 9 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
