Mr. Donald C Brandyberry

July 17, 1939 - April 27, 2012

Donald Clare Brandyberry, 73, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born July 17, 1939, in Grand Rapids, MI, Donald was the son of the late Clare and Josephine Lowendowski Brandyberry. He married Joann AAGrogan on December 27, 1972. She preceded him in death in 2008.
Donald had worked for Brunswick Corporation for several years, managing bowling alleys at various locations before retiring. He later went to work at Aisin, and retired from there in 2004. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, yard work and watching the news, especially CNN.
Survivors include two sons, Steven West of North Vernon and Eric Brandyberry of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Sandra Hoene of Seymour and Debra Hopkins-Haldaman of PA; seven grandchildren, Adam West, Cody Deaton, Conner and Mayson Hoene, Mia Brandyberry, Tatianna Sheridan and Gia Haldaman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joann.

Funeral Information

Cremation is planned with inurnment at Indiana Veterans Memorial Garden at a later date. Arrangements were made in care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Mia Brandyberry Education Fund.
