Dennis Vaughn Cornett

Dennis Vaughn Cornett, 44, of North Vernon passed away from the result of a car accident in Ripley County on Monday, April 26, 2010.

Mr. Cornett was born on September 7, 1965 in Seymour, In. He was the son of the late Paschal "Pat" E. and Laura Cornett. She survives.

Dennis had worked as a self-employed electrician for over 20 years. He had served in the Army. He enjoyed fishing, working and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, a son, Tanner Cornett, a daughter, Haley Raine Cornett and sister, Karen Cornett all of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., with the Pastor Tracy McIntyre officiating. Visitation will also be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday.
