Delores South, 71, of North Vernon, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at 5:20 PM at Jennings Health Care of North Vernon, Indiana.

Born December 12, 1937 in Middletown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Grover Moore and Mable Weaver Moore.

Mrs. South was employed in food services and also was a bartender.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny Powers of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Shelby Taulbee of North Vernon, a son, Terry South of Trenton, Ohio, a brother, Bobby Moore of Florida, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Darrell South.

There will be no services for Mrs. South. Arrangements are made in care of Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home.
