Delores Kay Cartwright, 72, of North Vernon went to the Lord surrounded by family at Columbus Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Born March 21, 1947, in Lawrenceburg, she was the daughter of Glenn and Dorothy Green Randall. She was the middle of fourteen children. She married Vernon Hill Cartwright on June 26, 1966. They raised four children. Sharon, Lethia, Dale, and Jeffrey.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting, and family.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Cartwright; children, Sharon (James) Funke, Lethia (John) Frazier, Jeffrey (Sarah) Cartwright; grandchildren, Darby, Dena, and Harrison Funke, Jaman, Haysanna, and Benjamin Cartwright; siblings, Russell, Libby, Rida, and Bonnie.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Vernon Presbyterian Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow. Rev. Richard Burcham will officiate. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
