Debra H. Grigsby, 61, of Brownstown, passed away at 7:31 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

There will be a visitation held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Born on November 24, 1959, in Seymour, she was the loving daughter of Charles M. Christian and Mary Evelyn (Day) Smith. She was united in marriage to Edward Lee Grigsby. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1991.

After graduating high school, Debra worked for a period of time in the dietary department at the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, but most of all loved and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Debra is survived by her mother, Mary E. Smith of North Vernon; sons, Matthew Charles Christian of Brownstown, and TJ C. Higdon of Uniontown; daughter, Meisha B. Grigsby of Brownstown; brothers, Timothy R. Christian of North Vernon, and Mark Christian of Madison; grandchildren, Isaac Rotert, Lane Higdon, Serenity Higdon, Bentlee Grigsby, Mila Goble Grigsby, Easton Dalton, Abbigail Christian, Eli Christian, McKinley Christian, Emmitt Christian, and Peyton Christian.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Christian; husband, Edward Lee Grigsby; brother, Jeffrey Charles Christian.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the family for expenses.
