Debbie J. Cornett, 70, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:34 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Majestic Care.

There will be no services held at this time. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on September 21, 1954, in Renssealer, IN, Debbie was the loving daughter of Charles Ralph McNeese and Irene (Helm) Adler. They preceded her in death.

Debbie drove a cab for thirty years for the Yellow Cab Company in Phoenix, AZ and Hazard, KY. She loved her cats, Kitzzy and Lincoln.

Debbie is survived by her son, Frank (Kim) Day of North Vernon; daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Lee of Jonesville; sister, Joellen Crane of Florida; grandchildren, Virginia Campbell, Michelle Baker, Alex Day, Jonah Baker, Jacob Day, and Frankie Day; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Joseph Day; brother, Merrit Helm; and grandchild, Kayle Day.
