David V. Skelly II, 62 (husband of Joanne Kirchner Skelly) passed away at 7:25 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon, IN. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  A Rosary service will be conducted at 3:30 PM Tuesday at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will follow from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born February 17, 1955 in Jeannette, PA, David was the son of Donald E. Sr and Margaret White Skelly.   David and Joanne married on November 24, 1984 in CA.

David graduated from Penn Tech in 1975 with expertise in computers and electronics. He retired from Sony, and owned Dave's Computer services.

He was member of Nativity Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis 500, enjoyed music, and radio-controlled helicopters and drones.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Kirchner Skelly of Indianapolis; brothers, Donald E. Skelly Jr. (Jennifer Panov) of Greensburg, PA., Robert Skelly of Latrobe, PA., and William Skelly (Tina Hoffman) of Coraopolis, PA.; sisters, Tenley Ann Comunale, and Barbara Skelly of Greensburg, PA.; sister in law, Virginia Hoak Skelly of Greensburg, PA.; God child, Kayla Skelly; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
