Mr. David Maxwell

March 04, 1924 - April 19, 2010

David Maxwell, 86, of North Vernon passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Jennings Health Care.

Mr. Maxwell was born on March 4, 1924 in Science Hill, KY., he was the son of the late Ira D. and Pernie L. Hughes Maxwell. He later married Helen L Maxwell. She preceded him in death.

David had worked and retired from Greyhound Bus after 35 years. He was a member of the U.S. Army and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He enjoyed preaching the Good News.

He is survived by a son, David Maxwell of Fort Wayne; a sister, Betty Underwood of New Albany and a step-daughter Bonnie Durham of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall on Highway 7 North in North Vernon at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Dowhower officiating.
