Mr. David L. Johnson

February 28, 1961 - May 10, 2009

David L. Johnson, 48 of North Vernon passed away at 1:05 PM on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born February 28, 1961 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Wallace Melvin and Dorothy Ann McClure Johnson.

David had worked for 20 years with Taylor Distributing in Ohio. He loved riding his motorcyle, having a great time, and finding great deals. He was a member of the American Legion.

David is survived by his mother Dorthy (Ron) Zimmerman of Jasonville, IN, three sisters, Patricia (Michael) Danford and Linda Richardson of Fortville, IN, and Peggy (Tom) Phillips of East Moline, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Wallace William Johnson.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until the time of the service.
