Mr. David L. Denny

David L. Denny, 66, of North Vernon, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at his residence.

Born January 27, 1942 in Peoria. IL, he was the son of Emerson and Mary Purdy Denny, they preceded him in death.

Mr. Denny previously worked as a Senior Surveillance Analyst. He was a member of the VFW Post 2021, Amvets post 7, Moose Lodge 576, Eagles 4097, all of North Vernon, and the American Legion 89 of Seymour.

Mr. Denny is survived by a daughter, Donna Zumbrunn of Indianapolis, three sons; David and Doug Denny of Indianapolis, and James Denny of New Jersey, and six grandchildren.

Mr. Denny was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Evelyn Parrish.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be at 1 PM Monday, January 26, 2009 at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home . Inurnment will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Madison, with Military graveside rites provided by the VFW Post 2021. A gathering of Family and friends will be from 12 PM to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
