Mr. Danny Hoskins

April 30, 1955 - August 02, 2011

Danny Hoskins, 56 of North Vernon passed away at 7:30 P.M. on August 2, 2011 in Jackson County after being involved in a motorcyle accident.

Born on April 30, 1955 in Ohio, Danny was the son of the late Hiram and Verda Cheek Hoskins. He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1973 and later attended Ball State and Purdue University. He worked in the engineering department at NTN Driveshaft in Columbus.

Danny was a member of ABATE and enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, riding motorcycles, bluegrass music, and auctions.

Mr. Hoskins is survived by his fiance, Marsha Manning of North Vernon, three step-children, Carly, Matt, and Chris Manning all of North Vernon, and nine step-grandchildren, Dalton, Justin, Christian, Shelby, Hallie, Teagen, Madyson, Lydia, and Jaidalyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon with Lester Lee officiating. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery. The family encourages anyone that will be attending that has a motocycle to ride it to the funeral.
