Daniel Ryan Smith, 33, of North Vernon passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:15 PM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

He was born February 10, 1984 in Seymour.

Daniel worked as a tile layer. He loved fishing and music.

He is survived by his mother, Leslie (Mark) Sharer of Paris Crossing; son, Trey Smith of Paris Crossing; step-father, Gary Smith of Austin; grandmother, Nancy Skinner of North Vernon; step-grandmother, Teresa Sandlin of Maryville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Asbury "Ace" Sandlin.
