Cynthia Ellen Barnes

Cynthia Ellen Barnes, 59, of North Vernon passed away at 2:55 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her residence.

Born October 13, 1952 in Springfield, Mass., Cynthia was the daughter of Robert and Marion Davis Busha. She married William Donald Barnes Sr. He survives.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with family and friends, and playing bingo.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, William Barnes Sr. of North Vernon; sons, Richard Barnes of North Vernon, and William Donald Barnes Jr. of West Plains, MO; sisters, Pamela Barnes of North Vernon, and Michelle Busha Marcoux of Scipio; brother, Richard Busha of Springfield, Mass; grandchildren, Brandon, Collen, Brynna, Bryce, and Willard Barnes; step-grandchildren, Dylan and Ryan Huff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Linda Busha Blackburn.

Funeral Information

A Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service, 115 South State Street, North Vernon, IN 47265. Melissa Barnes will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
