Cora A. Watts, 66, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:55 p.m. on December 20, 2020, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

There are no services planned at this time. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.

Born on August 28, 1954, in Indianapolis, Cora was the loving daughter of Raphael and Fanny (Thompson) Nelson.

Cora retired from NVIC where she was a supervisor. She loved and cherished spending time with her family and setting by the pond.

Cora is survived by her mother, Fanny Nelson of Indianapolis; son, Charlie (Jennifer) Watts; daughter, Ronda Wyatt of North Vernon; sister, Linda Meadows of Indianapolis; brother, Ronnie Nelson of Etna Green; grandchildren, Justin Wyatt, Kerrigan Wyatt, Kayla Watts, Ariel Watts; great grandchild, Alaina Chandler.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raphael Nelson.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
